This is a collaborate project with ANGELA CHEN  which is creating a typographic message for environment. Apply similar narrative and spatial considerations to a physical location. New Yorkers always ignore the surroundings they pass by every day. Drain covers are something people ignore every day and deliver us with a negative impression in this city. Therefore we trying to present a cheerful living area and make people slow down their pace while they are walking. We went to Long island City and Brooklyn and painted some positive quotes on the drain covers which they all have some playful grids.
